DIMS Buildup
Enter Notes (optional) then the dimensions. You can add as many lines as you need.
The program will
suggest how many values are entered depending on the Unit entered (so
m2 will suggest 2 values).
Rounding (Properties): When rounding is enabled the Total will
be rounded up to the nearest whole number when added to the bill page
(Although the calculation worksheet still shows the value to 4 decimal
places)
Composite (Nested) Dims
Changing the Status of a dims sheet to 'Composite Dims' will allow the
creation of another sub-calculation worksheet. The result of calculations
in this worksheet will be brought forward to the Linear value of
the original quantity calculation work sheet (upper pane) i.e. You now
have up to 2 levels of linked calculations.
Note: For composite dims the entry number is shown in bold and
the Linear value is shown in teal as it is calculated elsewhere
(in sub-dims).
Tips
- Enter a short description in the Notes column so you can easily see
what the calculation refers to.
- If you use the Return key after each entry, Fast Estimate will move
onto the next entry line once the appropriate number of dimensions have
been entered (e.g. If unit is m2, a new entry will be selected after
entering a Square value).
- Use Composite Dims and calculator supplied if you have a more complex
structure to measure.
